How our guarantees work

Evander’s own workmanship cover and any product or manufacturer warranty are not necessarily the same thing. Where a third-party manufacturer or supplier warranty applies and can be transferred, Evander will use reasonable efforts to pass the benefit of that warranty to the customer. Proof of purchase may be required.

Our workmanship warranty covers a period of 12 months from the date on which the installation was completed. The warranty applies to any issues arising directly from the workmanship or installation carried out by our engineers. It is intended to provide assurance that we stand behind the quality and standard of the services we have provided.

What’s covered and what isn’t

Guarantees and warranties are designed to cover qualifying product, component or workmanship defects within the applicable period. They do not cover every cause of damage or deterioration. The exact terms will depend on the product and any manufacturer warranty.

  • Accidental or impact damage, vandalism, forced entry, scratches or damage caused after installation.
  • General wear and tear, misuse, neglect or failure to follow the recommended care and maintenance guidance.
  • Damage or failure caused by unauthorised alterations, drilling, non-approved fixtures or third-party work.
  • Damage arising from structural movement, subsidence, settlement, pre-existing defects or other building conditions outside Evander’s control.
  • Glass breakage caused by thermal stress or spontaneous breakage where this is excluded by the applicable glass or manufacturer warranty.
  • Deterioration caused by unsuitable cleaning products, poor maintenance or environmental conditions where excluded by the applicable warranty.
  • Temporary issues caused by exceptional heat or weather conditions where the product returns to normal operation once conditions reduce.

For full details of what’s covered, including any conditions or exclusions, please refer to your order terms and the relevant manufacturer warranty.
