Bifold patio doors consist of a number of door panels (also known as leafs) which fold open in a concertina fashion. Ideal for larger openings, bifold doors can be pushed fully to one side to create a wide opening and allow a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors.
Bifold doors have become hugely popular in recent years and Evander is proud to offer both aluminium and uPVC versions to suit all property styles, personal tastes and budgets. Evander’s bifold doors are fully customisable to suit your property – ask us about your options today.
Designed with a high basic level of security, our external bifold doors come with multi-point locking systems as standard, as well as secure runners and reinforced frames. When the doors are fully opened, the outside is well and truly welcomed in. Lots of people opt for as little a step between the inside and out as possible to give a seamless link. This is determined by the threshold. For external doors, we would recommend a weathered threshold as it has a small lip to create a weather tight seal, the track can be sunk into the floor so it leaves a small upstand of under 1cm.
Non-weathered thresholds have no lip and are usually used internally or in a sheltered area. They can be installed to be completely flush,
however, they do not have the same high weather test results as our weathered threshold.
With over 150 different RAL shades and woodgrain finishes to choose from, you can be sure to find a colour that suits your style, no matter how subtle or outrageous it may be. Ranging from bright primary shades through to candy pastels and deeper earthy tones, the extensive colour palette is guaranteed to offer inspiration to homeowners and interior designers alike.
Additionally, with a dual colour option available, it means that the exterior colour can complement the building style while the interior frame can blend in with or contrast your internal colour scheme. Many of our RAL colours come with the option of offering a matt, satin or gloss finish.
