Coming soon to Britain’s roads are these new Evander vans, which will serve in some of our busiest depots across the UK. These vans are designed to transport garage doors to our customer’s homes so that they can be installed by our professional teams, so we wanted them to showcase our garage doors and really make a statement out on the roads.
As one side of the van is likely to be covered by a garage door for a lot of the time, we decided that the real focus should be on the rear doors of the vehicle. After all, this is the part most likely to be looked at by other traffic on the roads. The design on the rear doors shows a garage door with surrounding brickwork. The door is a panelled sectional door, much like the Hörmann LPU S Panelled Woodgrain available on our website. This type of garage door opens by rising vertically and splitting off into sections before coming to a stop horizontally flush to the ceiling of your garage space. This opening style is very popular in the US and in mainland Europe, and the technology is now available to those living in the UK. We offer sectional doors in many different designs, and when ordering you’re given the option of manual or electronic opening using a remote control. This is dependent on whether your garage has an adequate electricity supply and space for both the motor and the door, however this can all be assessed by our surveyor during your free measuring survey.
The sides of the van are decorated with three doors on a sweeping decal. The white door is another sectional door, just like the one on the rear doors of the van. The pale timber door in the middle is the Garador Addlington – our most popular solid timber door. The Addlington is characterised by the gentle arch design, which complements the natural beauty of the timber. The Garador Addlington comes with a choice of 5 different woodstain finishes, including Light Oak, which is the finish pictured. Constructed from solid red cedar – one of the most strong and durable timbers used – the Addlington is naturally insulating and secure.
The garage door at the top, which looks like it’s constructed from a dark wood, is actually a steel garage door called the Garador Wentwood. This door has a foil finish which mimics the look of real woodgrain, without the need for time-consuming maintenance. The Wentwood is available in Rosewood (pictured) or Golden Oak finishes, allowing you to match to the feel of your property.
